Ladiesjam is an ‘all women band’ that was created as an initiative of VVFLEX, who felt that more female musicians should be seen, and also women from different backgrounds that NL/Europe is rich in. Ladiesjam is therefore a multi-ethnic formation where the love for making music is central. The band is linked to the Music Development and Empowerment project Ladiesjam as a growth opportunity, which is also an initiative of Stichting VVFLEX.

Vanessa is a versatile and dynamic backing vocalist and musician, known for her powerful stage presence, seamless harmonies, and ability to elevate any performance. With a rich musical background spanning multiple genres—from soul and R&B to pop and rock—Vanessa brings professionalism, passion, and precision to every collaboration. Whether in the studio or on tour, her vocal agility and intuitive musicianship make her an invaluable asset to artists and bands alike. In addition to her vocal talents, Vanessa also plays piano, keytar, drums, percussion, and bass guitar. She is also active as a songwriter, composer, and producer.
