Vanessa is educated as a social and pedagogical worker and has established a non-profit foundation called VVFLEX which focuses on talent development and participation of vulnerable and marginalized people. Besides this VVFLEX works with upcoming artists and helps to showcase and promote them. VVFLEX has organized many projects and events in the Netherlands and abroad, and is currently mostly active with music lessons. Vanessa is coordinating the music classes and other activities, but also works as a music teacher at VVFLEX as well as other organizations
